Have you seen these....

Well I guess my secret is finally out. Last winter I got Natalie from Poppy & Bee to design me some Boot Toppers. So away to work she went and came up with these.

They are by far the most yummy things to wear and I get so many comments about them. So Natalie has decided to share my secret with you all and she has been overwhelmed with orders. She in fact spent all night filling orders!!!!

So don't let those boots go naked this winter. And keep your knee's warm at the same time with these lovely boot toppers. $45 a pair. You will find Natalie at our Love Vintage & Retro Market today 10 -3pm and you will always find her in facebook land ; )

What a great market day

Well the sun sure did shine on our market yesterday. I will confirm how much we made later today for Breast Cancer but our cake stall was a huge success.

Having George FM with us for the day was such a treat. Thanks guys it was awesome. Les from Balloon-a-trix even made them something special.

George FM

We had a rather cold start to the day but our lovely stall holders warmed our hearts with their beautiful products. Just a few photos that I took yesterday. More will be added onto facebook later tonight.

Want to win something????

Sure why not you say. Everyone loves to win something. And we have something very special this month thanks to the lovely Lucy Patterson . She has been busy at work making some extra special items for a very important cause, Breast Cancer. And she has made them pink!!! Lucy sent me a lovely email this morning with photos of the goodies she will be giving away and to tell me a little why this is such an important cause for her.

In 2000 Lucy lost her beautiful Grandmother Hildegard to Breast Cancer. I'm going to copy and past her email to me because I couldn't have said it better really.

My grandmother has been such an inspiration in my life and was a crafting legend! She could knit an adult man's jumper in a day (with perfect, tiny stitches) and always had some craft project on the go. She organised groups of women to make quilts and toys to send to children in places like Bosnia and Romania, ran an annual Fair Trade Fair to support fair trade in developing countries, and was always baking and making jams to raise money for various charities. In our family we have tapestries she made, knotted rugs, embroidered napkins, knitted jumpers that have become family heirlooms, and of course the crafting skills that she passed down to my mother and me. She would love that this month's Crafternoon Tea market is raising money for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

Hildegard I'm sure you would be so proud of Lucy today. She is has such amazing talent and we love having her at our market.

Lucy thanks so much for sharing your story and photo of your lovely Grandmother.

You can find Lucy in the main hall on Saturday 10 -2pm. Every purchase on the day will go into the draw to win these lovely prizes.

Keep it Crafty x

So what's happening

We are very excited to say that George FM will be joining us at this weeks Crafternoon Tea. We are supporting a important cause, Breast Cancer. Our Pink Ribbon Breakfast is going to be great. We will have free face painting for the kids between 1-2pm Thanks to Face Art and of course our Cake Stall, yum, yum. A lot of our stall holders are making special items to support the day and every purchase will go into the draw to win a lovely cushion thanks to Lucy Patterson . So let the weather shine on us for our awesome market and for a super important cause. Why not check out our who's coming list and make sure you watch our FACEBOOK page on Thursday night for another offer.
